Ayra Starr, the Afrobeats superstar, recently put an end to all the rumours around her relationship with her colleague, Rema. Both of them are signed to Mavins Records and have a great working relationship, further escalated by their close friendship. This has caused many to speculate the idea of the two of them being romantically involved.
In an interview with KISS FM Kenya, hosted by Chito and CYD, Ayra Starr was asked about her relationship with Rema. She seemed taken back as she has obviously not expected the question. She went on to explain that contrary to popular belief, Rema is like a brother to her. Yes, the two are very good friends who enjoy each other’s company a lot, but the relationship is strictly platonic.

Ayra Starr landed in Kenya on Wednesday night ahead of the much-anticipated ‘Shoke Shoke’ Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre(KICC), Nairobi.
The ‘Rush’ Hitmaker will be performing at the festival that has been scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th of March 2023.
